Great British Apples: 2 ways

Today i’m sharing not one but two recipes made with the good old British apple! It’s not the most exotic of fruits so it’s often forgotten but I personally love a good apple and think it’s so versatile, i’m going to show you my favourite two things to do with apples but i’d love you to let me know your favourites too!

Apple, Carrot and Ginger juice

This christmas I was lucky enough to get a juicer which i’ve been so excited about. I used to be really put off juicers as I thought they were really high maintenance however this one I found is so easy to clean and is so quick you can have fresh juice in under a minute which I love. This combination is honestly my favourite in terms of juice and makes you feel indestructible!

Simply juice 1 apple with 3-4 carrots, a thumb size piece of ginger and a good squeeze of lemon juice and serve immediately with some ice cubes!

Cinnamon apple crisps

Another delicious snack which I often turn to for a mid afternoon sweet hit is these crispy apple slices. To make them, I core an apple then slice as thin as I can. With the oven at 160 degrees I spread the apple slices and sprinkle with cinnamon then bake for 5-10 minutes until crispy and golden brown. My favourite way to serve is with peanut butter but the possibilities are endless!

What’s your favourite thing to do with the Great British Apple?
