For the last month or so I’ve been working super hard on some exams I’m taking soon so time isn’t something I’ve had very much of but I’m determined not to let it derail me and my fitness goals! It is actually super easy to make delicious food in a short space of time, even when you only have limited kitchen equipment and express supermarket to rely on. Today I’m going to bring you part 1 of my 10 minute revision friendly dinners, substantial and wholesome meals which can be ready in super quick time!
Who doesn’t love Pizza? And I promise you can still get your fix without needing to resort to Dominoes! I love getting wraps or pittas, topping with tomato puree and a range of toppings depending what I have in the kitchen. My favourites are: cooked meat, tuna, red onion, tomatoes, sweetcorn, spinach, courgette, feta. The possibilities are endless and all it takes is topping the wraps and putting in the oven for 5-10 minutes then you’re good to go! To keep me full I love these Protein wraps from Warburtons which are made with pulses, they taste amazing as well as having the added health benefits.
- Prawn Linguine
This is oh so delicious – in a frying pan, fry off your onions, garlic and add in any other veggies of choice then add in some chopped tomatoes. At this point you can add any seasonings and leave the sauce to reduce down and thicken, this should take about 5-7 minutes. At this point put on your edamame spaghetti (or any of the others in the range – but I really love this stuff!). Then a minute before the end, drain the spaghetti, add your cooked prawns to the tomato mix and serve up. This is so versatile as you could add any number of pastes such as harissa, or seasoning mixes like a fajita spice – all will taste amazing and go from fridge to mouth in less than 10 minutes!
