Chocolate Chia Protein Banana Bread

A few weeks ago the lovely ladies at Creative Nature Superfoods sent me some yummy goodies to try, I soon put them to good use along with some very ripe bananas to create something delicious! Ingredients:

3 Ripe Bananas

30g Cacao Powder

2 Scoops of Chocolate Protein Powder

2 tbsp chia seeds

1 Β½ cup Ground Almonds

2 Eggs

1 tsp Baking Powder

Splash of almond/coconut/rice/oat milk as required

 

Toppings:

Handful of flaked almond and extra chia seeds (or extra chocolate!)

 

Method:

  1. Preheat your oven to 180 degrees and grease a standard loaf tin with coconut oil
  2. Put all ingredients apart from the milk into a processor and mix for a few minutes until fully combined
  3. Add milk if required, this should be slightly runnier than your average cake mixture
  4. Tip into the loaf tin and add toppings
  5. Cover with greaseproof paper and bake for around 30-40 minutes, until a fork comes out clean
