Hotel room HIIT

I recently returned from 10 days in the sunshine state of Florida which was one of the best holidays ever! I’ve seriously fallen in love with the place and can definitely see myself living over there at some point. One of the main reasons I just LOVE it there is the crazy amount and variety of food (obviously) which tastes amazing but could definitely de-rail any healthy lifestyle (I’m looking at you All You Can Eat buffets!)

To reduce the impact and keep me feeling fresh I took just 30 minutes out of a morning to complete a full body HIIT workout in my hotel room to boost the metabolism and set me up for the day, simply set your timer for 20 minutes, turn up the music and give it your everything (just be sure to warm up before and have a good stretch after):

  • 10 Burpees
  • 10 Squat to lunge (squat, jump into lunge, jump to lunge on other leg, then back to squat, count this as one rep)
  • 10 Tricep dips (on a chair or coffee table)
  • 10 V Sit-ups
  • 10 Spiderman plank
  • 10 Mountain climber
